The Soul Project is a non-profit evangelism, apologetics, and discipleship ministry dedicated to equipping believers and churches to confidently live out and share their faith. Our mission is to provide clear, practical, and transformative resources that inspire action and strengthen conviction—helping every believer become a bold and compassionate witness for Christ. At its heart, The Soul Project exists to kindle the Church’s passion for the Gospel and empower God’s people to fulfill the Great Commission with clarity, courage, and love.
TSP’s exist to provide relevant resources that are free and accessible to anyone, anywhere at anytime. Our vision is to see the heart of God lived out loud through His people, for His glory.
Meet Brett Shannon
My name is Brett Shannon, and I am the Founder and Director of The Soul Project
My background includes a degree in Biblical Studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and more than three decades of ministry experience in evangelism, apologetics, pastoral ministry, and Christian training. Along the way, I have had the privilege of serving with ministries including the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Harvest Crusades, as well as authoring many evangelism and apologetics training materials.
As a former pastor and itinerant evangelist, my greatest passion is to use my gift of evangelism to come alongside churches and believers—helping them overcome the barriers we face in an increasingly secular age. My heart is to design and develop relevant, accessible training tools and resources that equip believers to confidently share their faith anywhere, anytime, and at no cost. All of our classes, digital sharing tools, and media resources have are designed to provide evangelism and apologetic essentials that are on demand and free to access at anytime by anyone. This is our heart—This is our Soul Project.
