TSP Ministries exists to Advance the Great Commission by equipping believers and strengthening the local church. Our mission is twofold. First, we provide high-quality evangelism and apologetics resources that anyone can access—anywhere, anytime—completely free of charge. Second, we come alongside local churches and associations to offer encouragement, strategic insight, and practical training that helps leaders challenge, equip, and support believers as they grow into fully engaged Great Commission Christians.
With this in mind, we provide a practical forum where pastors and church staff can explore and discuss strategies and resources designed to help initiate, promote, or strengthen their congregation’s witness within their specific community. We recognize that every church and every demographic context is unique. By taking a collaborative “two heads—or even ten heads—are better than one” approach, we seek to offer thoughtful, tailored counsel based on real-time insight we gain from you and your leadership regarding the evangelistic health and needs of your people.
My name is Brett Shannon, founder of The Soul Project. Through years of preaching evangelism conferences, serving on evangelism leadership boards, and developing training resources, I’ve seen both the strengths and the common gaps in how churches approach outreach. Once our initial consultation process is complete, our team will develop and prescribe a customized Advance Strategy for your church. Your strategy will include an initial diagnostic, a tailored plan, and practical implementation resources designed to provide the vision, structure, and tools needed to strengthen your church’s evangelism culture.
The goal is to help your church move beyond a hit-and-miss approach to evangelism and toward an intentional, innovative, and practical strategy that provides a balanced rhythm of emphasis, promotion, training, encouragement, and opportunity throughout all 12 months of the year.

Annual Strategy
Advance helps your church move from occasional evangelism emphasis to a consistent, year-round strategy. Together, we develop an annual rhythm that intentionally incorporates evangelism and apologetics into the life of your church without overwhelming your calendar or congregation. The goal is simple: intentionality without overload—creating a healthy, sustainable rhythm that keeps evangelism from becoming something your church only spotlights and emphasizes once or twice a year.
Training & Equipping
Advance helps your church provide consistent evangelism and apologetics training throughout the year. This can include quarterly churchwide training opportunities facilitated through special sessions or small groups. Our strategies also emphasize regularly promoting individual training opportunities, such as those provided by TSP, that are available anytime, anywhere. The goal is to create a culture where quality training is both regularly scheduled and always accessible.
Small Group Integration
Advance introduces small-group strategies that make evangelism a natural part of small-group life rather than something believers practice alone. Simple strategies incorporate encouragement, accountability, prayer, and confession. Advance provides campaigns, tips, and practical tools such as our “CrossOver” small-group training and outreach campaign. The goal is to make the Great Commission a normal and healthy part of Christian fellowship and accountability.
A Balanced Approach to the Great Commission
As a former pastor and a called evangelist, I have seen countless churches fall off one side of the horse or the other when it comes to evangelism. Some churches rarely emphasize it at all, while others can emphasize it in ways that leave people feeling pressured, guilty, or inadequate.
Advance is not a “beat them over the head” strategy, nor does it seek to make evangelism more important than worship, discipleship, fellowship, or edification. Instead, Advance helps churches organically weave the Great Commission into the existing life and rhythms of the church.
Obedience to the Great Commission becomes an expression of worship. Regular access to evangelism and apologetics training becomes part of discipleship. Prayer for the lost, encouragement, accountability, testimony, and even honest confession about missed opportunities can become a natural part of fellowship and small-group edification.
The goal of Advance is to help cultivate a church culture where the Great Commission becomes a natural part of who you are and what you do. A culture where believers are regularly reminded of their calling, equipped to share their faith, encouraged by one another, and given practical opportunities to engage the people God has placed around them.
